We are seeking a dedicated and passionate newly qualified Social Worker (ASW - NQ) to join our dynamic assessment team. Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals and families to determine their needs and eligibility for services.

  • Monitor the progress and effectiveness of intervention plans and adjust as necessary based on feedback and outcomes.
  • Document all interactions, assessments, and case management activities in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Engage with service users in a respectful and empowering manner to foster trust and encourage self-advocacy.
  • Collaborate with external agencies, community resources, and stakeholders to ensure holistic support for service users.
  • Attend regular supervision and training sessions to continually enhance knowledge and skills relevant to social work practice.

Requirements

  • Hold a recognized and relevant social work qualification (BA, MA or equivalent).
  • Possess up to two years of post-qualification experience in a social work setting.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of social work principles, theories, and practices.
  • Ability to conduct thorough assessments and effectively develop care plans based on individual needs.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with diverse populations.
  • Proficient in documentation and report writing in accordance with legislative and organizational standards.
  • Willingness to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends as required by the needs of service users.
