We're looking for Groundscare Service Technicians who are enthusiastic about joining our team and collaborating with the prestigious John Deere Brand, along with many other brands.

As a Service Technician at Ben Burgess, you'll face the exciting challenge of working with cutting-edge machinery, providing top-notch support to our customers, and playing a crucial role in delivering excellent customer service.

You'll work closely with our Service Managers, dividing your time between our state-of-the-art workshops and the great outdoors, where you'll maintain, repair, and service a diverse range of machinery, including tractors, combines, and other implements.

  • Your responsibilities as an Groundscare Service Technician will include:
  • Diagnosing and repairing groundscare equipment;
  • Performing regular servicing on machinery;
  • Continuously developing your skills and knowledge through training on new products and services;
  • Upholding the highest quality standards in both workshop and field settings;
  • Mentoring apprentices and trainees;
  • Preparing new and used equipment for delivery.

We value candidates who possess

  • Outstanding knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems;
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service;
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
  • Self-motivation, strong communication skills, and a drive to embrace new challenges;
  • Experience in an franchised dealer environment is preferred, but not essential as comprehensive training will be provided;
  • Proficiency in maintaining and repairing machinery using special tools and following approved technical procedures;
  • Flexibility to adjust working hours during peak seasons and weekends;
  • A valid UK driving licence;
