As an Agricultural Service Technician, you'll work with cutting-edge machinery, helping customers get the very best performance from their equipment. You’ll split your time between our workshops and customer sites, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of machinery — from tractors and combines to the latest precision agriculture technology.
What you’ll be doing:
- Diagnosing and repairing agricultural equipment
- Carrying out routine servicing and maintenance
- Keeping up to date with the latest technology through ongoing manufacturer training
- Ensuring all work meets high-quality standards both in the workshop and in the field
- Supporting and mentoring apprentices and trainees
- Preparing new and used equipment for customers
What we’re looking for:
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- A passion for delivering excellent customer service
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Self-motivation, strong communication skills, and a proactive mindset
- Previous experience with a franchised dealer would be advantageous, but is not essential — full training provided
- Confidence using diagnostic tools and following technical procedures
- Experience working on root crop machinery, drills, fertiliser spreaders, and sprayers would be beneficial but not essential
- Flexibility to work extended hours during peak seasons
- A full UK driving licence
