We're looking for an experienced Technical Service Manager to lead our Service Department. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who combines strong technical expertise with inspirational leadership skills and a genuine commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences.

What you'll be doing
As Technical Service Manager, you'll have overall responsibility for the performance, efficiency and success of the depot service operation.
You won't just manage the workshop from behind a desk. You'll be a visible technical leader, supporting technicians, developing capability within the team and ensuring every repair is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.
- Lead, motivate and develop a team of Service Technicians.
- Provide hands-on technical support, coaching and guidance.
- Ensure repairs are completed safely, correctly, on time and within budget.
- Plan and allocate workshop workloads to maximise efficiency.
- Build strong customer relationships through excellent communication and service.
- Monitor WIP, warranty activity and workshop performance.
- Maintain high standards of quality control and customer care.
- Drive continuous improvement through process, efficiency and best practice.
- Stay up to date with the latest agricultural technology, diagnostics and precision farming systems.
What we're looking for
- Significant technical experience within the agricultural machinery industry
- Strong diagnostic and repair knowledge of modern agricultural equipment
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience within a workshop environment
- Excellent communication and customer relationship skills
- A recognised technical qualification or formal accreditation
- Full UK driving licence
- An experienced Technician looking to move into daily management with support and a training programme
