As an Agricultural Service Technician, you'll work with cutting-edge machinery, ensuring our customers get the best possible performance from their equipment. You'll split your time between our workshops and working on-site with customers, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of machinery, from tractors to combines and precision ag technology.
What you’ll be doing:
- Diagnosing and repairing agricultural equipment
- Carrying out routine servicing and maintenance
- Keeping up to date with the latest technology through ongoing manufacturer training
- Ensuring all work meets high-quality standards both in the workshop and in the field
- Supporting and mentoring apprentices and trainees
- Preparing new and used equipment for customers
What we’re looking for:
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- A passion for delivering excellent customer service
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Self-motivation, great communication skills, and a proactive mindset
- Previous experience with a franchised dealer (preferred but not essential—full training provided!)
- Confidence in using diagnostic tools and following technical procedures
- Experience working on root crop machinery, drills, fertiliser spreaders & sprayers would be preferred but not essential.
- Flexibility to work extended hours during peak seasons
- A full UK driving licence
