We're looking for an Agricultural Service Technician to join our Ellington team. Whether you're an experienced Agricultural Engineer or looking to take the next step in your career, this is an opportunity to work with some of the most advanced agricultural technology on the market while receiving industry-leading training and support.

No two days are the same. You'll split your time between our workshop and customer sites, diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, servicing machinery and helping customers maximise the performance of their equipment.

What you'll be doing

  • Diagnosing and repairing agricultural machinery and equipment
  • Carrying out servicing, maintenance and inspections
  • Working with modern diagnostic systems and precision farming technology
  • Preparing new and used machinery for customer delivery
  • Delivering high standards of workmanship in both workshop and field environments
  • Supporting and mentoring apprentices and trainees
  • Completing service documentation and job records accurately

What we're looking for

  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a practical mindset
  • A commitment to delivering excellent customer service
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience using diagnostic equipment and following technical procedures
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable but not essential:

  • Experience working for a franchised dealer
  • Experience with root crop machinery, drills, fertiliser spreaders and sprayers
