As an Agricultural Service Technician, you'll work with cutting‑edge machinery, ensuring our customers get the best possible performance from their equipment. You'll split your time between our workshops and working on‑site with customers, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of machinery, from tractors to combines and precision ag technology.
What you’ll be doing:
- Diagnosing and repairing agricultural equipment
- Carrying out routine servicing and maintenance
- Keeping up to date with the latest technology through ongoing manufacturer training
- Ensuring all work meets high‑quality standards both in the workshop and in the field
- Supporting and mentoring apprentices and trainees
- Preparing new and used equipment for customers
What we’re looking for:
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Self‑motivation, great communication skills, and a proactive mindset
- Previous experience with a franchised dealer (preferred but not essential—full training provided!)
- Confidence in using diagnostic tools and following technical procedures
- Experience working on root crop machinery, drills, fertiliser spreaders & sprayers would be preferred but not essential.
- Flexibility to work extended hours during peak seasons
- A full UK driving licence
