Are you a dedicated, people-focused HR professional with a passion for making a difference? If so, we want to hear from you. We are looking for a skilled and proactive HR Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our people and managers across the business, providing expert HR guidance while contributing to the continuous development of our HR function. You’ll work closely with managers to support employee relations, performance management, and compliance, while also leading recruitment activity and supporting wider HR initiatives.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading end-to-end recruitment, partnering with managers to develop effective hiring strategies
- Providing guidance on employee relations matters, including performance, disciplinary, and grievance processes
- Building and maintaining talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
- Producing and analysing HR reports, supporting pay reviews, and driving the digitalisation of HR processes
- Maintaining and updating HR policies to ensure compliance with legal and organisational standards
- Driving employee engagement through surveys, feedback, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Supporting diversity and inclusion through EDI strategies, training, and key initiatives such as Gender Pay Gap actions
- Contributing to employee wellbeing, offboarding processes, and health & safety support
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience as an HR Advisor (or equivalent)
- CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent HR qualification)
- Strong communication skills across multiple channels
- A data-driven and analytical mindset
- Confident stakeholder management skills
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between depots (essential)
