We are currently looking for a Leisure Team Member with Lifeguard skills to work alongside the team here at Bembridge Coast Hotel, we are looking for a person to assist in the day to day running of the Leisure Suite, from regular pool rotations, supervising and cleaning the pool area & changing rooms, to setting up equipment and delivering a first‑class customer service when dealing with any queries. Some activities we offer our guests are Archery, Rifle Shooting, Pistol Shooting and Aquafit, some experience in these sports activities would be great, although we do give training.
The right person must be customer orientated and an enthusiastic team member to work full-time up to approx. 32 hours per week on a rota basis on a permanent contract.
A valid national pool lifeguard qualification is desired but not essential. Needs to be a strong swimmer and have excellent customer service skills.
As a Lifeguard, you will:
- Help our guests stay safe and healthy when using our facilities - the swimming pool, sauna, steam room, tropicarium and gym
- Deliver and Host the activities, giving our guests a great experience
- Do everything you can to create a friendly and relaxed environment
- Make sure everyone who arrives at the Leisure Suite enjoys a warm welcome and efficient service
- Be attentive and alert at all times
- Connect with the guests, helping them to feel valued and supported
- Pay close attention to safety and respond to any incidents straight away
Due to our location and early morning start times, it would be an advantage to have your own transport or live locally.
