We are seeking a detail-oriented QA and Software Testing Specialist to design and execute robust test frameworks, ensuring that our mobile applications, web platforms, and transaction engines remain bug-free, highly performant, and completely secure.
Role Purpose
You will take ownership of the software quality lifecycle, establishing comprehensive test strategies based on project specifications. Working in an Agile environment, you will collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to safeguard our payment pipelines and elevate our end-user experiences Belyfted - LinkedIn .
Key Responsibilities
- Test Planning & Strategy: Formulate and implement comprehensive, end-to-end test plans, test cases, and validation strategies directly tied to project requirements, user stories, and regulatory fintech specifications.
- Multi-Layered Testing Execution: Conduct extensive functional, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) across mobile apps (iOS/Android) and web portals Belyfted: Pay and Send. Perform performance and stress testing to ensure platform stability during peak transaction times.
- Defect Tracking & Lifecycle Management: Proactively identify, document, and triage software bugs, edge-case friction points, and processing errors. Monitor defects continuously via tools like JIRA and partner with developers to guarantee rapid resolution.
- Test Automation Integration: Drive testing efficiency by designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts, integrating automated validation checks directly into our CI/CD pipelines.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate daily with developers, system architects, and product managers to map out strict feature coverages, evaluate quality risks, and ensure smooth releases.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Proven working experience as a QA Engineer, Software Tester, or similar quality control role, ideally within financial services, digital wallets, or payment tech.
- Testing Methodologies: In-depth knowledge of Agile/Scrum software development lifecycles, risk-based testing, and test automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) and code deployment pipelines (e.g., GitHub, Jenkins ).
- Mindset: Superb diagnostic and analytical capabilities, an eye for detail, and excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly convey quality metrics to stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- ISTQB Certified Tester or equivalent professional QA certification.
- Prior experience validating financial APIs, third-party payment rails, banking webhooks, or compliance logic.
