We’re looking for a confident and experienced Sales Lister who thrives on winning new instructions, building trust with vendors and working hard to achieve outstanding results. Salary is negotiable depending on your level of experience, OTE, additional commissions & earning opportunities available.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing valuation leads and generating valuation opportunities through follow-up, referrals, and proactive activity.
- Booking & attending property valuations, providing accurate pricing, advice and selling our service.
- Winning new instructions at agreed fee levels.
- Offering & upselling additional services such as mortgage advice, conveyancing & marketing packages.
- Exceeding targets & demonstrating strong conversion rates.
- Building and maintaining excellent relationships with vendors.
- Managing the ‘take on’ of new properties, including signing paperwork, arranging for the marketing and listing of properties.
- Monitoring and managing pipeline performance.
- Working closely with negotiators to ensure a smooth handover post-instruction.
- Staying up to date with local market conditions, pricing, and competitor activity.
- Ensuring all work is carried out in line with legislation, compliance, and company standards.
- Holding weekly vendor care meetings with negotiators and managing & guiding on feedback provided to vendors.
- Providing accurate KPI reports outlining activity and performance when required.
- Providing senior oversight for the negotiators, offering training and expertise when needed.
- Managing the negotiators' diaries.
Skills & Experience:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of clients.
- Experience working within estate agency & within a sales lister role is essential.
- Experience in offering high levels of customer service and willingness to go above and beyond for clients.
- A polite and professional approach.
- Strong organisational skills – you will be managing multiple listings and client relationships simultaneously.
- Administrative proficiency – you will be handling documentation and maintaining accurate records.
- A keen interest in the property market and in dealing with people.
- A proactive approach and desire to learn and engage.
- A clean and valid driver’s licence.
- It would be beneficial to be local to the area with a good knowledge of Swansea & the surrounding areas.
Option 1 - Full time Monday to Friday 9am-5pm & alternative Saturdays 9am-1:30pm (time off in lieu). Option 2 - Part time hours would be considered (28hrs minimum per week - please specify on your application). Based in Mumbles. Basic salary is negotiable, depending on experience.
