Belvoir Farm Shop sits at the heart of the Belvoir Retail Village below historic Belvoir Castle, offering an extraordinary food retail experience that celebrates seasonal produce, local artisans and the best of British food culture within an iconic estate setting.

We’re seeking a passionate Farm Shop Assistant Manager ready to step into a role with genuine responsibility, supporting the Farm Shop Manager, leading our team and helping shape the shop’s commercial and customer experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Play a key role in the day-to-day leadership and commercial performance of the Farm Shop
  • Confidently lead the team in the Manager’s absence
  • Support sales performance, stock control and waste management
  • Be involved in ordering, supplier engagement and new product sourcing
  • Contribute to seasonal range planning and visual merchandising
  • Deliver outstanding customer service in a curated retail environment
  • Champion food safety, compliance and presentation standards

We’re Looking For

  • Experience in food retail, farm shop or similar environment
  • A proactive, commercially minded leader
  • Strong customer service and sales skills
  • Organised, reliable and enthusiastic with high standards
  • Ideal but not required, any food related qualifications, such as Food Hygiene, Legislation, Labelling, Allergens.
  • Ideal but not required, any food related specialist experience, such as Butchery, Deli’, Alcohol, Bakery, Cooking.
  • To be able to work 5 days out of 7 (Monday to Sunday inclusive), to provide cover & deputise in the manager’s absence.
