The Role

Proservartner is seeking a specialist in Finance Process Mapping to support transformation programmes across client organisations. This role will focus exclusively on mapping, analysing, and optimising finance processes, providing the foundation for GBS, Shared Services, and finance transformation initiatives. You will work closely with Finance stakeholders to document end-to-end processes, identify inefficiencies, and support the design of standardised, scalable operating models.

Key Responsibilities

  • Finance Process Discovery & Mapping
    • Lead workshops with Finance stakeholders to capture As-Is processes
    • Develop detailed end-to-end process maps across finance functions, including:
      • Record to Report (R2R)
      • Procure to Pay (P2P)
      • Order to Cash (O2C)
    • Document process flows, controls, handoffs, and system interactions
    • Capture regional variations and local process differences
  • Process Analysis & Improvement
    • Identify inefficiencies, duplication, and control gaps
    • Highlight opportunities for standardisation, simplification, and automation
    • Support design of To-Be processes aligned to best practice finance models
  • Transformation & GBS Support
    • Provide process inputs into finance transformation, Shared Services, and GBS programmes
    • Support operating model design through clear process documentation
    • Enable downstream initiatives such as automation, ERP transformation, and outsourcing
  • Documentation & Standards
    • Ensure consistent use of process mapping methodologies (BPMN or equivalent)
    • Maintain high-quality, structured documentation
    • Support governance of process documentation and updates
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Facilitate workshops and validate outputs with Finance teams
    • Translate complex finance processes into clear, structured visuals and documentation
    • Work closely with transformation, IT, and automation teams

Requirements

  • 5–10 years’ experience in finance process mapping or finance transformation roles
  • Strong experience mapping end-to-end finance processes (R2R, P2P, O2C)
  • Experience with process mapping tools such as Visio, Signavio, ARIS, or Lucidchart
  • Exposure to Shared Services or GBS environments
  • Strong understanding of finance operations and controls
