Join the Alcedo Care team as a Clinical Complex Care Assistant (Waking Nights) in Egremont with guaranteed contracted hours of 36 hours per week.

Salary: £17.09 to £17.65 per hour

About the Role

This is a rewarding opportunity to support a client living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) within their own home. The client has complex clinical needs and requires support with:

  • Tracheostomy care
  • Suctioning
  • Gastrostomy (PEG) feeding
  • Hoisting and moving & handling
  • Medication administration
  • Personal care
  • Supporting communication needs
  • Daily living activities and promoting independence

The client is no longer able to use their voice and therefore requires carers who are patient, attentive and able to communicate effectively using alternative methods. You'll be fully supported with expert training and competency sign-off from our in-house team of Registered Nurses and training specialists, giving you the confidence to excel in your role. Full clinical training and ongoing support will be provided for all aspects of the package.
