At Alcedo Care, we are looking for an experienced and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our growing Complex Care & Clinical Services team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly respected, award-winning provider delivering person-centred care to adults and children with complex needs in their own homes across the North West, North of England and North Wales.

As part of our Clinical Team, you will play a key role in supporting complex care packages, hospital discharges, clinical governance, and staff development β€” helping individuals live safely and independently at home.

About the Role

This is a varied and autonomous regional role combining clinical practice, leadership, assessment, and service development. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Completing clinical assessments and developing person-centred care plans
  • Supporting mobilisation of new complex care packages within the community
  • Providing clinical support during urgent staffing situations and rapid-response interventions
  • Supporting fast-track hospital discharge packages
  • Delivering and overseeing complex clinical interventions where required
  • Reviewing and auditing care packages to ensure compliance with CQC and NMC standards
  • Conducting Nurse Visits, EMAR and Care Note audits, risk assessments, and clinical reviews
  • Providing clinical leadership, mentorship, and competency support to carers
  • Delivering practical and theoretical clinical training to staff
  • Working collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive outcomes for clients
  • Supporting with On Call responsibilities

About You

We are looking for a confident, proactive RMN who is passionate about delivering outstanding care and supporting others to develop clinically.

Essential requirements:

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification
  • Active NMC PIN
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
  • Willingness to travel across regional locations as required
  • Willingness to be flexible if shift cover is required.

Desirable:

  • Experience within community, complex care, or homecare settings
  • Experience supporting clinical competencies and staff training
  • Knowledge of CQC regulations and clinical governance processes
