Requirements
- Be female (this role is subject to a genuine occupational requirement under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010 due to the specific needs of the client being supported)
- Have a minimum of 6 months' care experience in a UK care setting or through supporting a family member
- Hold a Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification or provide evidence that you are currently enrolled and actively working towards a Level 3 qualification
Salary and Hours
- Excellent rates of pay: £14.75 - £15.75 per hour + Pension + Holiday Pay (equivalent to £16.53 to £17.65 per hour including holiday pay & pension).
- Guaranteed contracted hours: 36 hours per week.

About the Role
The Complex Care Assistant role involves delivering high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with complex health needs, including spinal injuries, respiratory conditions and neurological disorders. You’ll be fully supported with training and competency sign-off from our in-house team of Registered Nurses and training specialists. You’ll perform tasks such as PEG feeding, suctioning, tracheostomy support, medication assistance, mobility support, meal preparation and household tasks, developing skills that make a real difference. You’ll support individuals to live independently in their own homes while delivering compassionate, professional care tailored to their needs. Complex care emphasizes empowerment, independence, and meaningful relationships.
All other recruitment aspects will be assessed fairly and on merit.
