Clinical Lead - Kirkcaldy Our care home, located in the heart of Kirkcaldy, a coastal town on the Forth Estuary in East Central Scotland, offers comprehensive Residential, Nursing, Dementia & Respite care, providing a supportive and caring environment for 60-residents. Clinical Lead Nurse (RGN/RMN) Contract 23.00 per hour Contracted to 45 hours per week Dayshift - 4 days per week Paid DBS, pension and uniform provided 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract) Ongoing training, clinical development and funded skills updates, with clear progression into Deputy Manager and Home Manager roles, within a well led and structured environment where your clinical expertise and leadership are recognised and developed. Role Overview As Clinical Lead Nurse, you will play a key role in providing strong clinical leadership within the home, working closely with the Home Manager and wider management team to ensure consistently high standards of safe, effective and person centred care. You will use your broad clinical knowledge and experience to support and develop the nursing and care team, including completing clinical competency assessments, providing training and supporting regular skills updates. You will provide guidance and leadership to ensure staff are confident and competent in delivering high quality care. Alongside your clinical responsibilities, you will support the management team with audits, attend relevant meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. You will help identify opportunities to improve practice and maintain high standards of care, compliance and clinical governance throughout the service. You will also promote a person centred approach to care, ensuring residents' individual needs and wellbeing remain at the heart of clinical decision making while supporting and developing the wider team. What We Are Looking For Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with an active NMC PIN Broad clinical knowledge and strong clinical nursing skills Previous leadership or senior nursing experience, ideally within a care home setting Experience supporting and developing nursing and care teams Confidence completing clinical competency assessments, training and skills updates Experience supporting audits, quality improvement and compliance Strong communication, organisational and leadership skills A proactive and supportive approach with a genuine commitment to staff development Passion for delivering high quality, person centred care Ability to work 4 days per week, totalling 45 hours, on a dayshift basis About us Gowrie House Care Home is part of Belsize Healthcare, a division of Care Concern Group, a family owned, market leading care provider with a strong and growing presence across the United Kingdom.
