Shift Pattern: 7.00 am- 4.00 pm Monday - Friday (Fridays 7.00 am - 3.30 pm) (with some requirement for Saturday mornings)

About Us
As you’d expect from the UK’s number one vehicle glass specialist, Autoglass® uses only the highest quality Original Equipment Manufacturer-standard glass for our customers. Our Technicians fit over 1 million pieces of glass each year and our Supply Chain, Laddaw®, is responsible for sourcing the best quality glass in a dependable and sustainable way.
Transporting large amounts of glass over long distances without damage presents its own challenges, which is why our Supply Chain team are experts in Warehouse Management and Logistics! Our technology means we have the ability to track stock movements with absolute accuracy to ensure that our Technicians have the right piece of glass available, for the right customer at the right time.
What does a day with us look like?
Based at one of our Mini Distribution Centres, you will be part of a team responsible for:
- Receiving, unpacking, picking and loading glass for delivery to our Autoglass® locations across the UK
- Delivering glass to internal and external customers
- Using the system to work through stock requirements
So, what are we looking for?
Having a UK driving license is essential, but aside from this, we choose attitude over experience every time – You’ll want to work hard and progress, and have high standards, with a genuine concern for ensuring our customers receive a world class service. You’ll ask questions and challenge and enjoy working in a team whilst also being able to work independently. Each day will bring something new, testing your ability to think on your feet and so you will need to be able to solve problems with real care whilst maintaining a strong customer focus.
Training
You will be required to complete regular mandatory training to keep your knowledge up to date in the following areas:
- Equality and Diversity
- GDPR, Data Protection and Information Security
- Bribery Act
- Modern Slavery
- Manual Handling (injury at work)
- Health & Safety (DSE assessment etc)
- Code of Conduct
- Cyber Security
You will also be required to undertake training and coaching as required to increase personal skills to achieve MDC performance standards, specific to tasks required to meet the relevant Supply Chain Team member grade and complete job specific training, as detailed below:
- Understanding our customer journey
- Manual Handling Equipment (MHE)
