At the heart of every Belong village is a family-friendly Bistro where customers, relatives, friends, and members of the local community come together to enjoy great food and great company. As a Bistro Assistant, you'll help create memorable experiences, whether serving lunch in the Bistro, preparing light meals and refreshments, or supporting private events and celebrations.
What you'll be doing:
- Providing outstanding customer service to residents, relatives, and visitors
- Preparing and serving light meals, snacks, and refreshments
- Operating tills and handling cash transactions
- Supporting Bistro events and functions
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and safety
- Working as part of a supportive and friendly team
We're looking for someone who:
- Has a positive and customer-focused approach
- Enjoys working with people and as part of a team
- Has experience in catering, hospitality, retail, or customer service roles
- Is reliable and flexible to work days, evenings, and weekends
- Has a Food Hygiene Certificate or is willing to work towards one
