Rate of pay and hours: £13.45 per hour, 17 hours per week including alternate weekends.

Who we are: We are Belong, delivering exceptional care in our Village community styled home. We are a committed team providing person-centred care to enrich our residents' lives, putting them at the heart of everything we do. Our front‑of‑house team is integral to our villages, and we need the best people at the helm, who will provide excellent customer service that exceeds expectations for all visitors.

The Role: As the first point of contact you will meet and greet all visitors to the Village, take phone calls, assist medical professionals along with families and friends on their visits. You will ensure all information is kept confidential and that the reception area is tidy at all times.

About You: You will have a positive outlook and be naturally accommodating. Ability to work in a team, take direction, and work alone when needed. This role is varied so you need to be adaptable.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
  • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g., pens, forms and brochures)
  • Provide basic and accurate information in‑person and via phone/email
  • Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
  • Update calendars and schedule meetings
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing
