Shifts: 10pm – 8am Nights
Rate of pay 12.60 per hour
One vacancy for 28 hour per week

We deliver exceptional care in our Village community styled home. We have Households with an average of twelve residents living in each; we are a committed team who provide the exceptional person centred care to enrich our resident’s lives putting them at the heart of everything we do.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Care Assistant to join our team in Belong Wigan.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate compassion, empathy and a person-centred approach to caring for older people.
- Self-motivated, resilient and well-organised
- Able to work well under pressure and flexible to meet the needs of the residents and the household.
- Provide assistance, personal care, activities and companionship to residents
- Be alert to residents’ needs, health and wellbeing
- Respect the residents’ dignity and privacy
- Work with residents and their families to deliver tailored care to each individual
- Assist with mealtimes and safe moving
- Maintain accurate records for each resident
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and written skills.
- Committed to providing a high standard of care, promoting dignity and respect.
- Previous experience working within an elderly care setting.
- Team player but able to work on your own initiative.
- Dependable, able to work well under pressure and flexible to meet the needs of the Home.
- A minimum of a NVQ level 2 in health & social care or the Care Certificate along with a dedicated passion for providing exceptional care for our night team roles.
