Shifts: 10pm – 8am Nights - 1 vacancy, 28.5 hours per week.

About the Role:
As a care assistant, you will work together with other staff in the running of the household, maintaining high standards of care and service towards customers, relatives, visitors, and other members of staff. You will provide a range of personal and practical care to our residents.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and a person-centred approach to caring for older people.
- Be self-motivated, resilient, and well-organised.
- Able to work well under pressure and flexible to meet the needs of the residents and the household.
- Provide assistance and personal care.
- Be alert to residents’ needs, health, and wellbeing.
- Respect the residents’ dignity and privacy.
- Work with residents and their families to deliver tailored care to each individual.
- Assist with mealtimes and safe moving.
- Maintain accurate records for each resident.
Skills and Experience:
- Excellent communication and written skills.
- Committed to providing a high standard of care, promoting dignity and respect.
- Previous experience working within an elderly care setting.
- Team player but able to work on your own initiative.
- Dependable, able to work well under pressure and flexible to meet the needs of the Home.
- A minimum of an NVQ level 2 in health & social care or the Care Certificate along with a dedicated passion for providing exceptional care for our night team roles.
