Shifts: 8am - 3pm, 3pm - 10pm, a combination of the two
Vacancies: Two positions for 19.5 hours per week and 26 hours per week

We have an exciting opportunity for a Care Assistant to join our team at Belong Atherton.
About the Role:
As a care assistant, you will work with other staff to run the household, maintaining high standards of care and service for residents, relatives, visitors, and staff. You will provide personal and practical care to our residents.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and a person-centered approach to caring for older people
- Be self-motivated, resilient, and well-organized
- Work well under pressure and be flexible to meet residents' and household needs
- Assist residents with personal care, activities, and companionship
- Be attentive to residents' needs, health, and wellbeing
- Respect residents' dignity and privacy
- Collaborate with residents and their families to deliver tailored care
- Assist with mealtimes and safe moving
- Maintain accurate records for each resident
Skills and Experience:
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Committed to high standards of care, dignity, and respect
- Experience in elderly care setting preferred
- Team player with initiative
- Dependable, adaptable, and able to work under pressure
- Care Certificate or NVQ in Adult Social Care desirable
