Job Title: Bistro Assistant This vacancy is for 5 hours per week. Alternate weekend working will be required. As a Bistro Assistant, you will be responsible for looking after customers visiting the Bistro and serving guests at corporate or private events within our function suites. Whether it\’s an intimate dinner, a Sunday lunch gathering, or a celebration party, you will work to ensure our customers feel well looked after and leave happy, eager to return for another memorable experience. Prioritizes tasks and completes them to a high standard and in a timely manner. Can undertake moving and handling of loads, catering tasks, cleaning, and use catering equipment. Can complete written work records accurately. Has an excellent customer care focus and a desire to serve others. Prepares light meals and snacks, such as sandwiches, baked potatoes, and Paninis. Has an awareness of health and safety and food standards requirements. Reliable and able to fulfill contracted hours and work patterns, including days, evenings, weekends, and nights. Experience of serving customers in catering or non-catering environments. Experience of working in a care environment is desirable. Possesses a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate or is willing to work towards obtaining one. Experience with cash handling and till operation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
