Our front of house team is an integral part of our villages, so we need the very best people at the helm, providing excellent customer services that exceed expectations for all visitors. Our Receptionists will have a warm and friendly personality that people instantly connect with.
The Role: As the first point of contact, you will meet and greet all visitors to the Village, take phone calls, and assist medical professionals along with families and friends on their visits. You will need to ensure that all information is kept confidential and that the reception area is tidy at all times.
About you: You will have a positive outlook and be a naturally accommodating person. You should have the ability to work in a team, take direction, and work alone when needed. This role is varied, so you need to be adaptable.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
- Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
- Update calendars and schedule meetings
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing
