About the Practice

We are a single-site, RCVS-accredited small animal practice based in the beautiful city of Hereford. As part of a larger veterinary group, we benefit from broader support and resources, while maintaining a strong local identity and a close-knit, collaborative team. We manage the majority of surgeries in-house and work closely with visiting specialists in cardiology, orthopaedics, and diagnostic imaging. Our practice is equipped with modern tools, including in-house IDEXX biochemistry and haematology, digital and dental X-ray, multi-parameter anaesthetic monitoring, ultrasound, ECG, and a K-laser. We continually invest in our equipment, training, and people to ensure we provide the best for our patients and our team.

About the Team

We are a welcoming, down-to-earth group of 5 vets, 9 nurses, and 7 support staff who genuinely enjoy working together, regularly collaborate on cases, and no one ever feels like they’re working alone - help and a second opinion are always just a question away. Many of our team members have been with the practice for several years, which speaks to the supportive, respectful environment we’ve built. We’re proud of our strong team spirit, and new colleagues always comment on how approachable and inclusive our team is. Our team brings a mix of experience and special interests, and we are always keen to support each other’s CPD and career development - including further qualifications and certificates. We protect our time and yours, with admin blocks, scheduled catch-up periods, and consultations ending at least 30 minutes before the end of your shift. We make work-life balance a real priority.
