Customer Account Manager Stowmarket – own transport essential Up to £30,000 depending on experience Customer Account Manager * Customer Service * Account Management * Outbound Calls * Sales Support Are you confident speaking to customers, building relationships and picking up the phone rather than waiting for people to call you? We’re looking for two people to join an established business in Stowmarket, supporting customers and the wider sales team. These are varied, customer-focused roles involving outbound calls, account management, customer service, sales support, enquiries, quotations and administration. You don't need to be a traditional salesperson. We're looking for people who are comfortable having conversations with customers, building relationships and spotting opportunities to help. What you'll be doing in a Customer Account role * Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers * Making regular outbound calls and keeping in touch with customers * Handling customer enquiries by phone and email * Understanding customer requirements and finding the right solutions * Following up enquiries and keeping customers updated * Supporting the sales team with quotations and orders * Identifying opportunities to develop existing customer accounts * Processing information accurately and keeping records up to date * Liaising with internal teams to make sure customer requirements are understood * Providing general sales and administrative support * Learning about the company's products and services This Customer Account role would suit someone with experience in: * Customer service * Account management * Sales support * Outbound customer contact * Telesales or business development * Customer success * Sales administration * A similar client or customer-facing role We're looking for someone who: * Is confident speaking to customers on the phone * Enjoys building genuine relationships rather than simply processing enquiries * Is comfortable making outbound calls * Has a proactive approach and doesn't wait to be asked * Is organised and pays attention to detail * Can manage multiple enquiries and follow things through * Has good communication skills * Is commercially aware and able to recognise opportunities * Is confident using IT and learning new systems * Experience within construction, manufacturing or a technical environment would be useful, but isn't essential. What's more important is that you're comfortable dealing with customers, picking up the phone and providing a great service.
