This is an opportunity to join a highly active principal investment team with significant capital to deploy, working on complex and varied transactions across the UK market.
This is a highly technical, modelling-focused role where you will support the evaluation and execution of a wide range of investment opportunities. Key responsibilities include:
- Building and owning detailed financial models for a variety of real estate transactions
- Analysing investments across asset-level, portfolio, and corporate structures
- Producing clear and concise outputs on returns, sensitivities, and key risks
- Supporting due diligence and transaction execution, working alongside external advisors
- Preparing materials for internal investment committees
- Conducting market and sector research to inform investment decisions
Candidate Profile:
- Exceptionally numerate and analytically strong
- Comfortable working in a model-heavy environment
- Interested in the technical side of investing rather than commercial origination
- Circa 1–2 years’ experience in a relevant role, such as: Big 4 Corporate Finance / Transaction Services Advisory / Financial Modelling teams / Real estate funds, asset managers, or investment platforms
- Ability to build financial models from scratch (this is essential)
- Demonstrated experience applying modelling skills in a real-world, professional setting
- Strong understanding of valuation and investment analysis principles
- A highly numerical degree (e.g. Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Finance or similar)
