The Opportunity
A growing, well-capitalised real estate credit platform is seeking an Investment Analyst/Associate to join its London-based team. The firm provides flexible, structured financing solutions across the UK real estate market, with a strong pipeline of new transactions. This is a front-office role offering exposure across the full investment lifecycle, from origination support through to execution and portfolio monitoring, working closely with senior investment professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the underwriting and execution of new real estate debt investments
- Conduct detailed financial modelling, including development and cash flow analysis
- Perform due diligence across sponsors, assets, and market fundamentals
- Assist in structuring transactions across the capital stack (senior, stretch senior, whole loans, mezzanine)
- Prepare investment papers and present findings to internal committees
- Coordinate with external advisors (legal, valuation, technical) throughout execution
- Monitor live investments and support asset management initiatives
Candidate Profile
- Experience in real estate finance/real estate debt/credit investing
- Strong transaction experience, with involvement in structuring and executing deals
- Advanced financial modelling skills (Excel essential)
- Commercial mindset with strong attention to detail
- Background in a debt fund, bank, alternative lender or relevant advisory platform
- Experience working on mid-to-large scale UK real estate deals
