Good Afternoon, I am currently representing Enfield Council, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience.
We are looking for a Youth Justice Officer. This role will be hybrid based in EN1 3ES.
The right candidate will:
- Write PSR reports, Referral Order and Breach reports.
- Carry out high quality assessments using Asset plus.
- Deliver interventions to reduce the risk of further offending and manage risk of harm to themselves and others.
- Undertake all duties in relation to Safeguarding young people and managing risk to the community.
- Have good analytical skills in order to carry out high quality assessments using Asset plus.
- Have a comprehensive understanding of Risk and risk management.
- Make referrals and deliver high level interventions using sequencing methods to reduce the risk of further offending.
We require the following:
- Must have at least two years YJS experience.
- Post holder will need minimum two years’ experience of working with children and young people in the Youth Justice system.
