Good Afternoon, I am currently representing Haringey Council, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience. We are looking for a Property Surveyor (Voids) this role will be: N22 7TY.
Responsibilities
- Provide an effective minor works maintenance surveying service for void and occupied properties, assess condition and identify building defects, diagnose issues, specify remedies, and apply landlord rent stops where appropriate.
- Deliver technical advice and support across all services.
- Ensure all work complies with statutory requirements and current legislation.
- Work with Temporary Accommodation procurement negotiations.
- Assist with legal, disrepair, and dilapidation claims.
- Prepare schedules of repairs, specifications, and technical drawings.
Qualifications
- Experience of building fault diagnosis.
- Up to date knowledge of building regulations and building standards.
- Fully conversant with Health & Safety, building safety compliance legislations.
