Good Afternoon, I am currently representing Haringey Council, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience. This role will be based at: N22 7TY Hybrid.
The right candidate will:
- Provide a high-quality, professional HR advisory service across a portfolio of schools.
- Support Headteachers, Governors, and senior leaders with a wide range of employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with employment legislation, policies and best practice.
- Manage complex casework including absence, disciplinary, grievance, capability, and organisational change, while also coaching leaders to build their confidence and capability in people management.
- Contribute to policy development, training delivery, helping schools drive improvement through effective HR practices.
We require the following:
- A confident and knowledgeable HR professional with strong employee relations expertise.
- Significant prior HR advisory experience supporting schools or education settings with an in-depth knowledge of school support staff and teacher’s terms and conditions.
- A CIPD qualification (or equivalent experience) and a strong working knowledge of employment law, as well as experience operating in a unionised environment.
