Housing Management Officer Location: Wigan, WN5 8HQ Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Housing Management Officer to work with a housing provider based in Wigan on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will deliver a proactive housing management service to a small caseload of five customers, supporting them to maintain their accommodation, meet the requirements of their licence agreements and work towards moving into longer-term housing. Key Responsibilities * Manage a caseload of five customers, providing housing management support tailored to individual support plans. * Support customers to maintain their placements and progress towards independent living. * Monitor rent and service charge payments, supporting income maximisation and addressing arrears. * Work with customers to ensure they understand and meet the requirements of their licence agreements. * Identify and address breaches of licence agreements. * Work collaboratively with customers to manage their accommodation and resolve housing-related issues. * Support customers to access longer-term accommodation when they are ready to move on. Requirements * Previous experience in housing management, tenancy sustainment or supported housing. * Knowledge of licence agreements, rent payments and housing-related issues. * Experience supporting vulnerable individuals to maintain their accommodation. * Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
