Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant/Leaning Assistant to join a Primary School based in Bradford. This is a temporary ongoing contract for 3 months to begin with, working 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities: * Facilitate access to the curriculum and school environment for children with vision impairment. * Supervise and support pupils, ensuring their safety and inclusion in all activities. * Develop and implement individual programmes of work, including braille and habilitation programmes. * Prepare and maintain specialist equipment, curriculum resources, and ICT tools. * Provide regular feedback to teachers on pupil progress and assist in lesson planning. * Promote positive behavior, encourage pupil independence, and assist with daily living skills. Requirements: * NVQ2 or higher, with GCSEs (A*-C) in English and Mathematics or equivalent. * Knowledge of braille, tactile learning methods, and the impact of vision impairment on learning. * Experience working with children with vision impairment, including delivering tailored support.
