Good Afternoon, I am currently representing Southern Housing who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience We are looking for a Team Assistant – Direct Services this role will be based at: ME14 5LH, The Oasts, Newnham Court Village, Bearsted Road, Maidstone, Kent The right candidate will: * Placing orders directly with suppliers * Liaise with internal teams relating to subcontracted works. * Handle and resolve any order or price discrepancies. * Liaising with subcontractors to obtain updates on completion of works * Maintain and update supplier records. * Tracking and amending orders. * Contact suppliers to resolve possible shortages, missed or late appointments and any other discrepancies. * Review overdue orders, notifying of any significant delays from suppliers. * Any associated purchasing administrative tasks as required. * Provide support on cost saving initiatives when applicable.
