Good Afternoon, I am currently representing Elmbridge Council, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience.
This role will be based at: KT10 9SD, Week 1: 100% in office - Week 2 onwards: 2 days remote, 3 days district/office.
The right candidate will:
- Deal with requests and complaints from members of the public about poor housing conditions, investigate and take appropriate action, including property inspections, identifying defects and hazards, statutory nuisances.
- Manage the HMO Licensing Scheme including identification and maintenance of the HMO database, inspection and regular monitoring of HMO dwellings and dealing with enquiries and applications for HMO licences.
- Assist in the management and administration of the Private Sector Housing IT system including the inputting of records, updating of records and producing regular reports for personal casework monitoring and monitoring and measuring team performance.
