Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Family Support Worker to join St Helens Council on an initial 3 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support social workers with assessments and care planning
  • Deliver practical and hands-on support to families in their homes
  • Supervise Family Time (contact sessions) between children and families
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to reports and reviews
  • Work closely with partner agencies to support families effectively

About You:

  • Experience working with children, young people, or families
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage challenging situations in a calm and professional manner
  • Full UK Drivers Licence and own vehicle
