Location: Haverhill Health Centre, Camps Road, Haverhill, CB9 8HF

Rate: £200 Per Day

Hours: 37 Hours Per Week

Contract: 3 Months+ (Likely Extension)

Working Pattern: Hybrid / Flexible – Approx. 2 Office Days Per Week

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Haverhill Area Integrated Team within Adult Social Care on behalf of Shropshire Council. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled OT looking for a flexible hybrid role within a supportive integrated team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing a varied Adult Social Care OT caseload
  • Completing face-to-face functional assessments within the community
  • Supporting adults to remain independent in their own homes
  • Assessing for equipment, adaptations, moving & handling solutions and reablement support
  • Completing recommendations for minor and major adaptations
  • Working closely with health professionals, social care teams and partner agencies
  • Providing specialist OT advice and support to colleagues and trusted assessors
  • Supporting urgent moving & handling cases and complex needs assessments
Experience Required:
  • Adult Social Care Occupational Therapy experience
  • Strong assessment and case management skills
  • Experience with equipment, adaptations and reablement planning
  • Good knowledge of Care Act legislation and OT practice
  • Community-based OT experience preferred
  • HCPC Registered Occupational Therapist
