Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Senior Care Assistant to join an Adults Residential Care Home on an initial 3-6 month temporary contract on a full-time basis. The Role As an Agency Care Officer / Senior Care Assistant you will lead a team of care workers over a shift and participates in the delivery of care for people with acute and complex needs. This includes: * Giving medications to residents * Manage the care team on duty * Telephone calls * Mange the shift safely and ensure safe practise and care is given at all times * Update care records using online care system The role involves working across different shifts patters to ensure that residents are supported on a 24/7 basis. Requirements: * Experience of leading a team of care worker in delivering care and support. * Extensive experience of providing personal care and support to people. * Knowledge and experience of delivering effective person-centred care, including dignity, respect, privacy, independence, and choice. * Able to communicate persuasively with compassion, empathy, and respect. * Able to plan, prioritise tasks and actions for self and team across a shift.
