We are currently recruiting experienced and compassionate Nurses to support a specialist detox service based near Preston, Lancashire. This is an excellent opportunity for Nurses seeking flexible ad hoc work with competitive pay rates and the chance to make a real difference within substance misuse and recovery services.

Shift Patterns

  • Days: 07:00 – 19:15
  • Nights: 19:00 – 07:15

Pay Rates

  • £26.50 per hour – Days
  • £27.50 per hour – Nights
  • £40.00 per hour – Bank Holidays

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care within a detox and rehabilitation setting
  • Administer and manage medications safely and in line with protocols
  • Monitor patient wellbeing and respond appropriately to clinical needs
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery outcomes
  • Promote a safe, therapeutic and supportive environment for service users

Requirements

  • Valid NMC registration (Adult Nurse or Mental Health Nurse)
  • Previous experience in detox, substance misuse, mental health, forensic, or similar settings preferred
  • Strong clinical, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
