Belmont Recruitment is currently seeking experienced recovery workers to join a reputable private charity in Shropshire. This position offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact within the community on a rolling contract basis, with the potential for long-term engagement. The works with substance misuse clients and rough sleepers with the aim to prevent present and future homelessness through use of the residential service. The service uses interventions to aid the residents through their recovery with the use of a weekly timetable tailored to the individual clients, furthermore you will be working with external agencies to support the residents of the service through their journey and recovery. As a mixed case load Recovery Worker, you will be responsible for managing a caseload and delivering interventions primarily, along with individuals facing complex needs related to drug use. Your role will involve providing tailored support through recovery plans, facilitating both individual and group sessions, and collaborating with detoxification teams within the program. Additionally, you will offer vital treatment recovery, harm reduction advice, and interventions for blood-borne viruses (BBVs).
