Are you experienced in supporting individuals with opiate addictions and passionate about empowering people on their recovery journey? Belmont Recruitment is looking for a skilled Recovery Coordinator to join a dedicated opiate team of a private charity in North Yorkshire.

About the Role:

You’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality support to individuals managing opiate dependency. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will develop tailored recovery plans, provide harm reduction advice, and collaborate with partner agencies to ensure effective care.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a caseload of clients with opiate dependency, delivering person-centred support.
  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify needs and recovery goals.
  • Delivering harm reduction interventions, including advice on safer use and overdose prevention.
  • Liaising with prescribing services and other agencies to coordinate care.
  • Supporting clients through structured recovery programmes, fostering long-term change.

What You’ll Need:

  • Enhanced DBS clearance (essential).
  • Experience working with opiate clients in a recovery-focused setting.
  • Strong knowledge of harm reduction, safeguarding, and substance misuse interventions.
  • Excellent caseload management and organisational skills.

What’s on Offer:

  • Competitive hourly rate of £18.50 - £20.00 (dependant on experience).
  • Flexible working hours, Monday to Friday.
  • Initial 3-month contract with opportunities for extension.
