Belmont Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Production Operative for a temporary to permanent assignment based in Solihull. This is a full-time position working 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with opportunities for weekend overtime. The role offers a structured shift pattern and the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. The shift pattern is as follows:
- Monday to Thursday: 12:30pm – 10:00pm
- Friday: 10:30am – 8:00pm
Main Duties:
- Operate machinery and plant equipment within a production environment
- Carry out general production operative duties as required
- Complete quality and statutory checks and report any defects
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping across the site
- Accurately complete all required paperwork and production records
- Safely operate forklift trucks and other mobile plant equipment
- Support overall site efficiency and production targets
Essential Criteria:
- Previous experience in a production, manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Valid FLT licence is essential
- Experience operating forklift trucks and/or mobile plant equipment
- Ability to carry out quality checks and follow procedures accurately
- Good attention to detail and ability to complete paperwork correctly
- Strong understanding of health and safety within a production setting
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work effectively as part of a team
