What will you be doing?
We are looking for a Lawyer specialising in Planning to join our in-house legal team. The role will require you to undertake a caseload of work including:
- All aspects of planning legal work
- General legal advice on planning matters
- S106 Agreements – negotiation and drafting
- Variations to planning agreements under s106
- Advice on Planning Enforcement
- Support and advice for planning appeals
- Seeking advice from Counsel on specialist matters such as Judicial Reviews
It is desirable, but not essential, that you have local government experience and ideally have experience working in planning matters, however a willingness to learn and develop in these areas is beneficial. Training and support would be offered as part of your continuous professional development.
