We have roles available at the moment within an NHS Prison setting in Leyland, for Band 5 Pharmacy Technicians. These roles do not require any previous experience of working within a prison. The posts in question are available full time working 37.5 hours a week; however, part time may be considered.
BAND 5 - Pharmacy Technicians responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense medicines and highly complex dose regimes including compliance aids.
- Supervise and train new starters, apprentices, assistants, qualified or student technicians.
- Provision of a quality service, demonstrating reliability in routine dispensing of medication.
- Participate in rota for Accuracy Checkers, checking items that have been dispensed by pharmacy staff for issue to individual patients.
These posts are paying up to £17.00 per hour.
