Are you a prison-cleared Pharmacy Technician looking to make a difference within secure services? Belmont Recruitment is seeking a skilled and motivated professional to join the healthcare team at a prison in Hull.
About the Role: Working within a multidisciplinary team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of pharmacy services to prisoners. From managing medication administration to providing expert advice, you’ll support the health and well-being of individuals in a unique and challenging environment.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the preparation and dispensing of prescriptions in line with prison guidelines.
- Conducting medicines optimisation and providing advice to prisoners and colleagues.
- Managing stock levels and ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical regulations.
- Supporting healthcare staff with medication reviews and clinical audits.
- Delivering patient-centred care to promote better health outcomes.
What You’ll Need:
- Prison clearance (essential – CTC or equivalent).
- Registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the GPhC.
- Previous experience working within a secure or prison environment (preferred).
- Strong understanding of medicines management and controlled drug protocols.
