Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join the NHS on an ongoing temporary contarct based at Royal Blackburn Hospital.
This is a part-time role working 22.5 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide pharmacy technician support within the Corporate Pharmacy service.
- Contribute to the delivery of a safe, effective and high-quality medicines management service.
- Support pharmacy activities and services within the Pendle View Unit.
- Work collaboratively with pharmacists, pharmacy colleagues and wider clinical teams.
- Ensure medicines-related processes are completed accurately and in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.
- Support the safe and effective use of medicines across the service.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure appropriate documentation is completed.
- Promote good medicines management practice and contribute to patient safety.
- Work in accordance with NHS policies, pharmacy procedures and professional standards.
Requirements
- Current Pharmacy Technician registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPh C).
- Previous experience working as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Experience within an NHS or hospital pharmacy environment is desirable
