Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Personal Assistant to join Calderdale Council's Adult Social Care Team on an initial 3 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide confidential and professional executive support to senior leaders
- Manage multiple diaries, coordinate meetings, and handle complex scheduling
- Prepare reports, presentations, minutes, and official correspondence
- Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Organise travel and accommodation and support key council events
- Coordinate Cabinet papers and support Departmental Management Team activity
- Respond to enquiries, complaints, and compliments in line with council procedures
- Support Freedom of Information requests and information governance practices
About You:
- Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
- Proven experience in a PA, secretarial, or executive support role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable managing multiple priorities
- Professional, discreet, and confident in dealing with senior figures and sensitive information
- Ability to work flexibly, including occasional evenings or weekends as required
