West Sussex Council is seeking an experienced Pensions Accounting Manager.
Contract Length: 6 Months
Rate: 325 Per Day
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 Hours
Location: County Hall, Chichester, PO19 1RQ
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Council in its role as Administering Authority for the LGPS
- Lead and manage pension accounting and investment-related activities
- Drive service improvements, projects, policies, and strategies
- Manage and motivate teams and external providers
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, committee members, and external partners
- Ensure services are delivered in line with statutory guidance and regulations
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong background in LGPS / Pension Fund Accounting / Investments
- Experienced manager with leadership and team development skills
