Belmont Recruitment are currently seeking experienced Multi Skilled Painter & Decorators to join Bolton Council’s Housing Repairs service. This is a temporary position working 37 hours per week across various locations within the borough. Main Duties: * Undertake all aspects of painting, decorating and multi-skilled repair work within council housing, including void and occupied properties * Carry out repairs, maintenance and refurbishment to a high professional standard * Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely and in line with council policies and health and safety requirements * Use handheld IT devices (such as PDAs or iPads) to record and update job information accurately * Manage van stock levels and ensure tools, equipment and vehicles are maintained to a high standard * Deliver excellent customer service to tenants and contribute to the council’s customer care ethos * Support colleagues across the wider Repairs and Maintenance teams where required Essential Criteria: * Time-served Painting and Decorating Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification * Previous experience working in social housing or property maintenance * Skilled in all aspects of decorating, with the ability to carry out minor multi-trade repairs * Full UK driving licence Please apply with an up to date CV ASAP if this role would be of interest to you
